Audix, Back Door Slam, and the Waterfront Blues Festival

Held on the grassy banks of the beautiful Willamette River in downtown Portland, Oregon, the Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival is the largest blues festival west of the Mississippi and the second-largest blues festival in the nation. The festival annually attracts more than 120,000 blues fans from throughout the world.

Peter Horne (Horne Audio), the sound provider for the Festival, states: “We have enjoyed working with Audix microphones for many years now, and we can always count on them with great quality and high reliability.”

Audix microphones are used widely throughout the festival, and can be seen here with one of recent endorsers, Back Door Slam, who bring their fresh style of bluesy rock all the way from the Isle of Man!
