Reflex Marketing named Rep of the Year for 2008!

Audix Rep of the Year – 2008

The Audix 2008 Rep of the Year Award was presented to Reflex Marketing at the recent NAMM show in Ahaheim. Reflex Marketing, who is responsible for NY, NJ, and Eastern PA, has been representing Audix Microphones since September of 1998. To commemorate the occasion, Audix fabricated a ”slightly enlarged” copy of their popular i-5 dynamic instrument microphone.

VP of Sales, Cliff Castle states “The award was custom-made from solid 2 ½ inch brass bar stock on our automated 8-axis CNC turning center. The mic ended up being about 4 times the size of a normal i-5 and weighed in at about 5 lbs! The mic was then hard coat black anodized - then, all the final details were laser-etched in-house. It turned out so nice, I almost didn’t want to give it away, Castle jokes.”

“But seriously,” Castle continues, “Reflex Marketing, in spite of the economic challenges of 2008, had a very significant growth in the areas of independent retailers and sound contractors. Bob, John, and Rob are champions on and off the field - definitely the kind of guys you’re proud to have on your team! ”
