In Memorium - Richie Hayward - 1946-2010

Richie Hayward, 64, drummer for and founder of Little Feat and inspiration to countless drummers and drumming fans over the years, passed away August 12, after a long battle with lung disease and liver cancer.

Richie was not only a tremendous drummer but also very dedicated to both family and fans, always willing to take the time to talk with a fan or show someone a sneaky tom fill. His drumming and good cheer will be missed.

Audix extends our condolences to Richie’s family, band, and fans around the world. Thanks for the music and all the good times.
