Audix VX5 Chosen by Martin Guitars

The Audix VX5 was, once again, the microphone of Choice in the Martin Guitars booth at the 2010 NAMM Show, held in Anaheim, California from January 14-17.

Chris Thomas, artist relations for Martin Guitars, states: “Audix VX5 microphones have been used exclusively on the Martin Guitar NAMM stage for years. Our artists rely on them (in this challenging performance setting) to be heard clearly every time. We wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna), is pictured singing through the Audix VX5 while playing his new signature Martin M-30.

Audix co-founder Cliff Castle says, “Martin has set THE standard in acoustic guitars for over 175 years. The VX5 is a perfect choice for their acoustic presentations at their booth and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
